He is survived by: his significant other Jill Diane Randall; his children, Cheris Kirk (Jaime) of Indianapolis and David Charles McCool Jr.; and his siblings, George McCool (Jeanie) of Vermont and Maralene Caldwell of Indianapolis. He is also survived by his grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
