It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Michael Mendez Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Mendez; his parents, David Mendez and Teresa Mendez; his grandparents, Luis, Patrocina Mendez, Blas and Ernesta Mendez; his sister Patricia Mendez; and his former wife Barbara.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Andrew Mendez (Rachel), Amanda and Louanne Mendez; and his siblings, Sandra Switzer (David), Debra Wiseman (Micheal Wolford), Cynthia Marie Mendez and Jerome Richard Mendez. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 26 aunts & uncles.
