She was predeceased by: her parents, Laverne Robinson and Harriett Robinson; and her son James Deem Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Patricia Scott; her children, Tracy Herron and Mark Shelton; and her grandchildren, Nate Herron and Summer Teepe. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Indiana Funeral Care - Indianapolis Chapel (8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Washington Park East Cemetery (10612 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229).
