She was predeceased by: her husband James Alan Scharfenberger; her son Joseph; her granddaughter Haley; and her siblings, Donna Eisenhut and Joseph Kinney.

She is survived by: her brother Maurice Kinney; her children, Julianna Newland (James), Janis Boltz (Mark), Jodee, James Scharfenberger II (Patty) and Jennifer Snyder (Ryan); her grandchildren, Patrick Newland, Matthew Boltz, Alex Boltz, RJ Crace, Tyler Crace, Cody Crace (Chelsie Weaver), Colton Crace, Christine Scharfenberger (Carl McKnight), James Scharfenberger III, William Scharfenberger (Nick Terrio), Megan Snyder and Gavin Snyder; and her great grandchildren, Sophia and Cayden.
