He is survived by: his son Vernon Leroy Ransom, Sr. (Dorothy Leanna LongDon); his wife Terri Peacher-Ransom; his children, Sienne Nikole Ransom and Don Rey Ransom Jr. (Valerie Delgado); his grandson Don Rey Ransom III; and his siblings, Vernon L. Ransom Jr. (Cynthia), Yvette Ransom Porter (Greg) and Lisa Ransom Williams (Robert).
