He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Nester and Pauline Nester (Knarzer). He is survived by: his wife Betty Prusakiewicz (Elizabeth) of Gaylord, Michigan.; his children, Deborah Hillenburg (Randy), Jeffrey Nester, Kimberly Meyer (Brandon) and Kelly Johnson (Jeremy); and his grandchildren, Nate Hillenburg, Corbin Johnson, Chloe Meyer and Zane Meyer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, at 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (7200 Sarto Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46240). A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Peace Cemetery (9001 Haverstick Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46240).
