She was predeceased by: her parents, Pinney Sommers and LaVerne Sommers; and her brother Ron. She is survived by: her brother Tom; her husband Philip; her daughters, Sherry Hall (Steve), Laurel Mercer (Brad) and Nancy Scearce (Mike); her grandsons, Brandon Scearce (Cara), Bryan Hall and Austin Scearce (Trinity); and her great grandchildren, Trentin, Alana and Conner.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stevens Mortuary (5520 W 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46224). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Bethel Cemetery (5252 W 52nd St, Indianapolis, IN 46254).
