She was predeceased by: her former husband Carroll Lee Polsley; her parents, Taylor Harris and Bessie Harris; and her siblings, Charlie "Cuz" Harris, Daisy Bowling, Della Long, Dorothy Hammock (Daniel), Cread "Jack" Harris (Madge), Donetta Keehn (Cecil), Diane Newerth (Donald), Delva Jean Ayres (Carl) and Carl "Champ" Harris (Joyce).

She is survived by: her children, Karen Polsley, Kathy Shaw, Warren Taylor Polsley and Kelly Clarke; her husband Garrett Gay; and her children, Lorri Strickland (Larry), Sherry Hart, Glenda Conner (Harold) and Michael Gay (Susie). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
