It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Jeanette (Liechty) York (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Sylvester and Olive Gertrude Liechty (Burns); her husband Bill; and her son Eric York. She is survived by: her sister Virginia Arlene Meyers (Ward) of Brazil, Indiana; her son Kevin York (Veronica) of Tuscola, Texas; her daughter-in-law Teresa York of Coatesville, Indiana; and her daughters, Lynnette Dallas (Jimmie) of Anderson and Erin Ringle (Mike) of Plymouth, Minnesota. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cherished friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Washington Park North (2706 Kessler Blvd W Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46228). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Northwest Church of Christ, 8624 50th Avenue North, New Hope, MN 55428, where Doris was a member, and to Life Centers of Indiana, 9511 Angola Court, Suite 215, Indianapolis, Indiana 46268, where she and Bill volunteered.
