He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oscar and Golden Hume (Wade); his siblings, Prentice "Deacon", Fredrick and Margaret; and his wife Betty Hume (Heldman).
He is survived by: his children, Mary Utt (Ralph), Pamela Hume-Engle (David), Fay Etter (Chris) and Mark Hume; his grandchildren, Paula Stringer (Utt), Stephanie Rife (Utt), Katie Burrell (Engle), Dillon Etter, Julie Engle and Dexter Etter; his great grandchildren, Kevin Padgett, Joseph Hall, Kasey Rife, Clayton Rife, Wyatt Burrell, Elliott Burrell, Crosby Schmitt and Cora Everhart; and his pet Pete. He is also survived by 4 great-great grandchildren.
