He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hood and Sallie Hood; and his sister Mary Juanita Stockton (Hood). He is survived by: his sons, Todd (Julie) and Scott; his grandson Matthew; and his siblings, Vivian Ageline Kirk (Hood), Sue Pearl Hayward (Hood), Iva Mae (Hood), Wanda Louise Hood and Bejamin L. Hood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Duane's memory to either Veterans of Foreign Wars or St. John Lutheran Church.
