He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Garner and Mayola Garner (Moore); his wife Jewel Garner; his daughter Mary Myers; and his grandson Douglas Garner.
He is survived by: his children, David Garner (Pam) and Elsie Richardson; his siblings, Bob Garner and Ola Faye Goff; and his grandchildren, Gary Richardson (Rebecca), Ryan Garner (Andrea) and Andrew Myers (Emma). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
