He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lawrence Martin (Melissa), Sylvester Dunn (Philana), Sherri Jackson (Robert), Vernia Steele (Roderick), Jamil Dunn, Darius Dunn (Elaina), Alisha Dunn, Kristen Stringer, Alaina Stringer, Amber Martin, Dr. James Martin (Deondrea), Kefentse Glenn, Tamira Glenn, Mercedez Glenn and Terrance Glenn; his daughters-in-law, Bertha Brown and Carolyn Martin; his brother-in-law Edward McLane (Rosa); his nieces, Everly Phelps (Michael), Janice Hudson and Kay Williams; and his close friend Nellie Allen.
