She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Boner and Rev. Henry Boner; her children, Missionary Ann Patton, Minister Kevin Tony Boner and Michelle Boner (Louise Boner); her granddaughter Lauren Boner; her sister Rev. Maudine McCurine Wordlaw; her niece Katrina Ann Foster (Kevin); her great-niece Jakara Segrest; her great-nephew James Segrest; her sister Jeanne O'Neal; her adoptive children, Mellanie Pendleton Fryer, Rev. Yvette Foreste, Toron Jackson-Kenny, Alalia Lott, Tamalar Rouse, Karen Williams-Taylor, Deondra Wardelle and Bryant Clayton, Sr.; her goddaughters, Drea Bowdry and Aria Bowdry; Jazman Moore, R'Javia Segrest, James Ellis Segrest and Zion James Segrest.

She is survived by: Janie Mathis.

After graduating from Junior College, she was employed at Marillac House, (which was operated by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul), as Director of The Kiddieville Department, where she was in charge of children ages 5 to 12 years, providing before and after school care.
