He was predeceased by: his parents, T. K. Stone and Willie Nancy Moore Stone; his children, Cynthia Stone and Byron Frierson; his grandson Anthony Stone; and his siblings, Bishop Joe C. Stoner, Rev. George Shannon, Donald, DeWitt, Calvin Shannon, Charles, James Palo, Mariam O Macklin, Margaret Williams, Mary Richards, Mary Alice Dixon and Willie Mae Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Missionary Carolyn P. Stone of Indianapolis, IN; his children, Raynatte Rollins (Otha) of Indianapolis, IN, Stephanie Patrick (Eric) of Lakeland, FL, Jeffery Stone (Lori) of Lemars, IA and Thomas Anthony Stone (Martha) of New Albany, IN; and his goddaughter Sherrell Hicks (Rufus) of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren, his eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives.
