Ellen Rees Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen Rees of Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Louis "Butch" Rees; her son Mark; her daughter-in-law Linda "Missy" Rees; her parents, Arnold Berger and Loretta Berger (Dudine); and her siblings, Mary Agnes Berger and Glen Berger.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Scott Rees of Boonville, IN and Mindy Krol (David) of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Stephanie Presson (Zach), Shannon Ross (Michael), Susan Wilson (Maddie), Mark Rees, Jr., Mallory Rees, Marissa Richards (John), Nora Krol, June Krol and Sage Krol; her great grandchildren, Rees Presson, Luke Presson, Sam Presson and Missy Ross; and her brothers, Gene Berger (Rose) of Davidson, NC and Paul Berger of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the NOW Program or to masses, which will be read in her name at both churches.
