Ellen Elizabeth Sichting Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Elizabeth Sichting of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ellen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ellen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, James Elmer, Helen Sichting, Charles and Nancy Shumaker. She is survived by: her parents, Dan Sichting and Lucinda Sichting (Shumaker) of Brookston; her husband Chad Strauch; her pet Ralph; her sister Danielle Sichting of Brookston; and her parents-in-law, Greg and Debbie Strauch of Mooresville.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Franklin College Napolitan Student Center.
