She was predeceased by: her son Daniel Thomas; her grandchildren, Kristine and Jeffrey; her parents, Esther Brown and Perry Brown; and her brothers, Meredith, Jerry, Bernard and Gordon.
She is survived by: her children, David Thomas (Mona), Kathleen Brown (Jeremiah) and Jennifer Sayor (David); and her sisters, Opal Curry, Karen Duff and Marietta Woods (Spencer). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
