He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Hoffner Katona and Dr. Nicholas. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda (Sharolyn Smith) of Cincinnati; and his siblings, Andrea Pactor (Jon) of Indianapolis and Steven Katona (Susan Lerner) of Bar Harbor. He is also survived by nephews, a niece and grandnieces.
