We announce the death of Everette Lewis (Indianapolis, Indiana), born in Selma, Alabama, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 75. Everette will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Herman Lewis, Sr. and Elsie Rebecca Sheppard; and his siblings, Levi Jr., James, Helen and Timothy.
He is survived by: his children, Garlando Lewis (Camille), Shanon Lewis (Coi Lanier) and Zenaida Lewis; his granddaughters, Genesis Bowers, Geydyn Bowers and Dream Lewis; and his brother Bertram (Cheryl-Ann) of Cleveland, Ohio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crown Hill Funeral Home (700 W 38th St, Indianapolis, IN 46208). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
