He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Lynn Phillips (Larry) of Mooresville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Hunter Swift, Mya Swift, Addison Phillips, Tasha Robinson, Anita Phillips and Austin Phillips; his sister Carol Carter (John) of Highland Village, Texas; his niece Jill Welke (Eric); his nephew Vance Carter (Rosa); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Abby Welke, Jay Welke (Angelina) and Manny Carter; his former wife Betty Peery of Greenwood, Indiana.; and his half-siblings, Brenda West of Ft. Worth, Pam Apricio of Colorado Springs, Michelle Montoya Jaramillo of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Buddy Smith of Moorpark and Danny Stingley of Ft. Worth, Texas.. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
