He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry M. Bernard and Gertrude Bernard. He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy McKay Vaughan (David) of Bakersfield, Rosalie Strong (David) of Simi Valley and Rick (Bonnie) of Lake Shastina; and his wife Sue. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
