He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lane and Ella Lane; and his siblings, William Lane (Butch) and Lawuana Dans. He is survived by: his wife Rosa M. Dickerson; his daughters, Kara Lane and Garla Lane (Enos); his granddaughters, Bailey, Kaelyn, Devon and Kendall; his great grandchild Nevaeh Rose; his sister Kelly Lane; and his mother-in-law Eunice Dickerson. He is also survived by in-laws, nephews and nieces, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
