It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Johnson (Indianapolis, Indiana), born in Liberty, Kentucky, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Payton and Ethel Payton; her son-in-law Tommy Garrett; and her sister Mary Tapscott. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Heather, Crystal, Hollie and Rusty; her great grandchildren, Jaylen, Cody, LilWill, Caylee and Jaxon; and her siblings, Ellen, Maxine, Dorothy, Edgar and James.
