Gilbert Thomas Herod Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Thomas Herod in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on November 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus T. Herod and Cora Lynn (Stoops); his brother Paul; and his grandchild Collin Herod. He is survived by: his brothers, Samuel and William; his wife Delores Herod (DeeDee); his children, Glen Herod, Beth Scaer, Andy Herod and Angela Hauck; his stepsons, Graham Watson, Ted Herod, Thomas Herod and Michael Herod; his grandchildren, Heather Beaty, Erica Skrok, Benjamin Phillips, Hannah Kent, Rachel Scaer and Taylor Herod; his great grandchild Donald Kent IV; and his daughter Miriam Johnsmiller.
