He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Menchhofer Sr. and Bessie Menchhofer; and his brother Delano McCarty. He is survived by: his daughters, Tawnya Atwell (Tom), Trisha Atwell (Adam), Theresa Atwell (Brandon) and Tammera Menchhofer (Kevin); his grandchildren, Catawna Silvers, Caine Silvers, Coty Wilson, Christopher Padgett, Cheyenne Atwell, Chyala Atwell, Cierra Atwell, Carma Gorman, Caterra Lindsey and Ceagan Lindsey; and his great grandchildren, Juniper Diddock, Jillian Wilson and Jackson Wilson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home (5463 Kentucky Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46221).
