It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilda Ruth Marion of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Bartley and Lucy Bartley; her husband Vesper; and her siblings, John Bartley, Joe Bartley, Hugh Edward Bartley, Bobby Bartley and Mary Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Meiring, Nancy Young (Roger), Lisa Marion and Denton Marion; her grandchildren, Jason Meiring, Stacy Johnson (Greg), Jennifer Pruitt (James) and Laura Young; her stepgrandchildren, Pat, Ryan Young and Sue Erickson (Ron); her great grandchildren, Jordan Fennel (Preston), James Pruitt (Destiny), Rebecca Pruitt and Cheyanne Meiring; her great great grandchildren, Charleigh, Lennox Fennell and Henry Pruitt; and her siblings, Junior, Roy (Trisha), Doyle Bartley and Naomi West. She is also survived by 8 step-great-grandchildren.
