He is survived by: his wife Jane Hines of Indianapolis, IN; and his children, Irvan Hines (Mary) of Blaine, MN, Kevin (Susi Jenni) of Corcoran, MN, Paula Jane Hines (PJ) of Moorhead, MN and Ryan Hines (Kerri) of Plymouth, MN.. He is also survived by his family grew to include three stepchildren and seven step-grandchildren.
