She was predeceased by: her husband Gary L. Shirley; her parents, Warren Cogswell and Pauline Cogswell; and her sister Linda Cogswell. She is survived by: her daughters, Heather L. Newsom and Joan E. Newsom (Jody); her grandchildren, Isaiah E. Martinez, Darby C. Martinez and Samuel A. Martinez; her great grandchild Thomas James Martinez; and her nephews, Alex and Wayne Cogswell.
