He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Surenkamp and Cathleen Surenkamp (Guinn); and his daughter Beth Ann Surenkamp. He is survived by: his daughter Cathleen JoAnn NeSmith (Ryan); his grandson Cole NeSmith; and his brother Mark Surenkamp. He is also survived by his family, church family, friends, and former coworkers.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Point Church (311 Myers St, Seymour, IN 47274). A reception will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Voss & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services (316 N Chestnut St, Seymour, IN 47274).
