He was predeceased by: his wife Blanche Phillips Church; his parents, Howard McConnell and Julia McConnell (Emery); and his sisters, Elizabeth (McConnell), Perkins (Don), Julia Ann (McConnell) and Byerly (Ellsworth).
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth, Julia Ann, Michael McConnell, Dana Chamness (Don), Jane Church and David Church; and his brother James Arthur McConnell (Connie). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and 17 nephews and nieces.
