She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlie Bean and Nellie Bean; and her grandson Jason Martin. She is survived by: her husband Boyce T. Kitchens; her children, Marsha Jackson (David) and Gerald Kitchens (Patty); her grandchildren, Dr. Gerald Kitchens II (Jennifer) and Angela Riley (Brian); her great grandchildren, Madeline Kitchens, Andrew Martin and Brenyn Martin; and her sister Creola Edon.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gh Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home (1605 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
