We announce the death of Inez Patterson in Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Doddsville, Mississippi, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 97. Inez will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Isaac Patterson; and her brothers, Andrew, Otha, Clifton, Cleveland and Tommy.
She is survived by: her children, Ella Mae Coleman, Isaac Patterson, Willie Lee Patterson, Cleola Patterson, Rutha Patterson, Lee Etta Williams, Leo Patterson, Samuel Patterson, Gregory Patterson and Earlene Milon; and her sister Leatry Williams.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Usher Funeral Home (2313 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46222). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
