She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Blair and Vena Blair; her husband Glenn R. Chastain; and her siblings, James Blair, Wayne Blair, Glen Drieman, Shirley Backus, Thelma Smith, Betty Talbot and Amanda Boyd.

She is survived by : her children, Edna I. Prosser, Rebecca A. Chastain, Louis E. Chastain (Mary) and David L. Chastain; her sister Ruthie Greensfelder; her grandchildren, Candi S. Napier, Roger L. Chastain (Jill), Robert E. Chastain (Samantha), Katelynn Chastain and Mary Adams (Bryan); and her great grandchildren, Lauren Chastain, Addelynn Chastain, Anastasia Chastain, RJ Chastain, Autumn Adams and Jacob Adams.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (925 E Hanna Av, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
