We announce the death of Jack Wendell Holding of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 87. Jack will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Holding and Margaret Holding; and his wife Ida Holding. He is survived by: his children, Jacklyn Boswell, Jack "Sam" Holding (Stephanie), Bart Holding (Kim) and Terry Holding (Mary Jane); his grandchildren, Christy, Jeremy, Chloe, Katie and TJ; and his siblings, Larry Holding (Dian) and Peggy Fish (Gary). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Indiana Funeral Care West (5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46224). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Floral Park Cemetery (425 N Holt Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46222).
