It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James A. Braughton (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on May 23, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Sr. Braughton and LaFrenda Braughton; and his brother Richard Braughton (Dick). He is survived by: his close friend Sherri Ardelean; his children, Marsheila G. Braughton-Tidwell, James E. Braughton, Douglas A. Braughton, David A. Braughton and Michael A. Braughton; and his brothers, John Braughton (Bud) and Benjamin Braughton, Jr.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
