He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Childers and Bonnie J. Hazel (Carrico); his grandparents, Charles E., Lucy Irene Carrico, James H. and Hallie O. Childers; and his brother Randy Childers.
He is survived by: his daughter Heather Childers; his siblings, Vicky Chapman, Michael Childers (Bonnie) and Melissa Greene; and his pet Bella Rose. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
