James Arthur Dewes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2024, at the age of 65, James Arthur Dewes of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Dewes and Cynthia Dewes; and his brothers, Peter David Dewes (Sandee Schlosser) and Andrew Paul Dewes. He is survived by : his wife Rita Davey; his children, Rachel Thomas (Daniel) of Indianapolis, Joseph Dewes of Indianapolis and Elizabeth Castle (Tyler) of South Bend; his siblings, William Dewes (Dianne), Katherine Dewes-Stark (Johannes) and John Dewes (Susan); and his sisters-in-law, Sandee Schlosser and Janice Dewes. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
