He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Judd Sr. and Mary Judd (Kimberlin); his stepdaughter Stephanie Smith; and his siblings, Betty Lou, Phyllis, Ronald and Tina.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen L. Judd (Freeman); his stepson Michael Smith; his grandchildren, Jacob and Caroline; and his sisters, Brenda Proffitt and Beverly Price. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
