It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Richard Anthony (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Anthony and Loreen Anthony (Mitchell); his sister Betty Vincent (Frank); and his daughter Betsy Gordon (Rob). He is survived by: his wife Beverly Mattox; his children, Julie Summerville, Tom Anthony (Shellie) and Suzy Wilhelm (Tony); his grandchildren, Ronnie Anthony, Renee Goodman (Zach), Katy Bravo (Manny), Lily Wilhelm, Joey Wilhelm, Indy Wilhelm, Trent Gordon and Taylor Gordon; and his great grandchildren, Arthur and Emyrs Goodman. He is also survived by many nieces and one nephew.
