He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Miles Sparks and Edna L. Sparks (Hardesty); and his sister Sue Warner Dickerson. He is survived by: his children, Tom Sparks (Kim), Tammy Harrah and Wade Sparks (Erin).

The family wishes any memorial donations be made to Walnut Grove Cemetery.
