She is survived by: her children, Jim Patterson (Pam), Elaine Patterson, Julie Burris (Bill), David Patterson and Brad Patterson; her siblings, Joe Haigerty and Jeanine Adkins; and her grandchildren, Olivia Sappenfield (Mike), James Patterson, Laura Patterson, Charlotte and Haig Patterson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish at Geist Catholic Church (10350 Glaser Way, Fishers, IN 46037).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Janet's name to Riley Children's Foundation.
