With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Ruth Van Liew in Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ken; and her parents, Henry E. Krumme, Jr. and Bertha Marie Krumme (Goecker). She is survived by: her children, Michael Van Liew (Janet Craddock), Jeff Van Liew (Julie Mathias), Deborah Todd (Bryan) and Jacqueline Stuckwisch (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Chad Van Liew (Megan Hackman), Toby Van Liew, Cortney Van Liew (Matt Weimer), Erin Smith (Mark), Andrew Todd, Daniel Stuckwisch (Leslie Martinez), Sarah Stuckwisch, Leah Rekis (Nick), Matthew Stuckwisch, Kyle Van Liew and Jessica Miller (Donald); her great grandchildren, Annie Van Liew, Avery Van Liew, Naomi Stuckwisch, Chloe Stuckwisch and Eila Miller; her brothers-in-law, Richard "Dick" Shade and Paul Pomeroy, Sr.; her half-siblings, Galen Krumme (Mae) and Nanette Krumme Burke; and her sisters, Melba Krumme Stafford, Edith Krumme Pomeroy and Sarah Krumme Shade.
Memorial donations may be made to either Grace Lutheran Church or Trinity Lutheran High School in memory of Jan.
