She was predeceased by: her parents, George Killian and Mary Killian (Pike); her husband Donald "Don" H. Arvin; her grandson Daniel; and her brothers, George, Jack, Donald and Wayne Killian.

She is survived by: her son Donald "Don" Arvin (Amy); her grandchildren, Phillip, Kaleigh and Jonathan; and her siblings, Sharon Burnes and William "Bill" Killian.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, honoring Janis's legacy of love, faith, and joyful living.
