With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jay Lawrie of Indianapolis, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jay left this world on October 28, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Blakestone and Louise Lawrie (Gilliam); and her sisters, Ann James and Sue Burkert. She is survived by: her children, Amy Davis (Bill) and Brian A. Turk (Tracey); her grandchildren, Jordan Smith (Harrison), Cassey Krupa (Alex), Megan Turk (Corbin Fath), Daniel Davis (Olivia) and Jack Davis; her great grandchildren, Melanie, Tristan, Amelia and David; and her friend Josephine Bova.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Roch Catholic Church (3600 S Pennsylvania St, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of Jay's generous spirit, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Roncalli High School.
