She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Henry McCoy and Mary McCoy; her spouse Russell Harris; her siblings, Earnest, Cornelius (Cheese), William Silas McCoy (Burger) and Patricia Miles; and her children, Dewayne Harris and Deborah James-Davis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly "BJ" Harris, Delores "Dee Dee" Tolbert (Charles) and Sherrill "Bonnie" James; and her grandchildren, Tawana Williams (David), Dontae Tolbert, Tamika Slaughter (Harris), Shira James, Tamara Harris, Cierra Tolbert and Corey Tolbert. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
