He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Babbs and Vivian Bratton (Minix); and his son Jeffrey Scott Babbs. He is survived by: his wife Mari Babbs (Davisson); his daughters, Mari Deborah Aponte (John Radez), Dawn Fowler (Scott) and Melissa Lee; his brother David Bratton (Christine); his grandchildren, Dustin Aponte (Rebecca), Matthew Parrish (Adrienne), Ashley Sutton (Jimmy), Nicole Fowler, Michael Parrish, Mitchell Parrish (Kristen) and Mary Jessica Parrish; and his great grandchildren, Eleni, Eleanor, Benjamin, Lyric, Simon, Finn and William. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Washington Park East (10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229).
