He is survived by: his wife Mary Lu Carper (Rose); his children, Jeremy Carper and Mary Downey (Keith); his grandchildren, Samantha Downey, Chris Downey and Cameron Mitchell (Rosanna); and his great grandchildren, Waylon Mitchell and Lindy Mitchell.
