He is survived by: his wife Robbie Lee Cox; his children, Cheryl Green, Brian Cox, Wendell Wheeler Jr., Joseph Wheeler, Victor Wheeler, Anthony Wheeler, Christopher Wheeler and Audrey White; and his brothers, Dennis Cox and Kenneth Cox. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
