He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Sexton and Marcella Earls Sexton; his son Arthur Sexton (Duck); his siblings, Jerry Sexton, Billy Sexton, Ronnie Sexton, Judy Key, Deloris Jeanie Harper and Shelia Henry; and his sister-in-law Kim Sexton.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sexton.
